Lucila Gomez is a Spanish voiceover artist and actress, with 10+ years of experience.
She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and currently lives in Los Angeles, United
States. Over the course of her career, she has worked with a plethora of multinational
commercial brands, including renowned names like Coca Cola, Herbal Essences,
Dove, Rexona, Nesquik, and 7UP among others. In the realm of original and dubbed
voices for films, she has left her mark on iconic works such as "Spirited Away", which
have earned an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. In this masterpiece, she brought to
life the protagonist, "Chihiro". Her versatility extends to "Ponyo on the Cliff", where
she provided the voice for the character "Ponyo", both films masterfully directed by
the celebrated director Hayao Miyazaki. Furthermore, she created, under the
direction of Oscar-winning director Juan José Campanella, the original voice for the
character "Carmiño" in the film "Metegol." On the small screen, her contributions have
been equally remarkable.
She created the original voice for the character "Zamba" in
"La Asombrosa Aventura de Zamba", a production that garnered international
recognition in 2014 and earned a nomination for an International Emmy Kids Award
in the category of "best animation". In 2020, her work as the artistic voiceover for the
AMC Latin American promo "Nosferatu-Story Time" secured a Gold Promax Award
for this special on-air promotional campaign. Furthermore, she has served as the
institutional and artistic voice for television channels, including Cosmopolitan TV,
Nat Geo Kids, and the Sci-Fi Channel. She continues to contribute her talents to Nick
Jr, Más Chic, and HITN, catering to both the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic
markets.
